Worksheet Instructions
There are over 200 Worksheets within the Change Leader's Roadmap (CLR). Worksheets are attached to Tools within the Tasks of the methodology, and provide the hands-on, pragmatic resource needed to execute your change strategy. Worksheets are available in 2 formats:
| 2. | Downloadable electronic forms. |
The following are instructions for downloading the electronic worksheets.
Downloadable Electronic Forms
The most effective way to use the worksheets is to download the electronic form versions.
| 1. | To access the Worksheets as electronic forms, click on the Worksheets button on the left hand side of the CLR website, as shown in Figure 1 below. |
You will be taken to a complete table of contents for the electronic forms, see the example below.
| 2. | Using the navigation reference of Phases, Activities, Tasks, and Tools, simply click on the Worksheet title you want to open. |
| 3. | A File Download dialog box will open prompting you to Open or Save the file, as shown below. |
When you click Open, the file immediately opens in Word as a Read-Only document. The document can be filled in when opened, but will then need to be saved to a new location. When you click File/Save within Word the following dialog box will appear:
When this dialog box appears, simply click Cancel and the Save As dialog box will appear, where you can save the Worksheet to the location of your choice.
| 4. | If you choose to Save from the File Download dialog box, you will be prompted to save the Worksheet to the location of your choice. Once the file has been saved the Download complete dialog box will appear (see the example below.) |
From this dialog, you can directly open the downloaded file by clicking Open.
| 5. | To use the electronic form, simply begin typing in all of the highlighted areas and/or data fields. The data fields will automatically expand to accommodate any amount of data. |
Creating Worksheet Derivatives
Your CLR user license allows you to create derivatives (any modification to a Worksheet) of any Worksheet. The electronic forms are designed to be saved and opened with the content of the Worksheet protected against such edits. To create your derivative, you will need to stop the form's protection.

You can either click OK and there will be no password protection, or choose a password. It is recommended that you choose a password that is easy to remember (perhaps the same password you use for logging in to the CLR online), or write the password down. Protection passwords cannot be retrieved if forgotten.
